On the first day of spring, I would like to share with you my idea for a light and airy scarf, perfect for this beautiful season:

Sterling Spring

As the flowers bloom and the world awakens, wrap yourself in the beauty of Sterling Spring. Dive into the art of knitting with a blend of intricate braids and delicate openwork!

The scarf combines lace, cable and popcorn stitches. The openwork gives it a light feel, while the braided edges add texture and hold it all together.

Sterling Spring offers a rewarding challenge for intermediate knitters, providing an opportunity to master new techniques while creating a shawlette ideal for the changing seasons. I hope it inspires your creativity and brings you joy.

The original scarf shown in the photos was knitted with 500m of fingering viscose yarn on 3mm needles and measures 140x30cm after blocking. But it can be made with any yarn, on any needle size. It all depends on the effect you want to achieve.

It is worked flat, back and forth. The instructions include a written description as well as graphic charts to be worked in the prescribed order. All the elements and symbols used are carefully explained.

I hope you like it!
Happy knitting :)
