This sweet little scarf marries the classically beautiful Feather & Fan pattern with the wonder of holding our kid mohair/silk lace weight yarn, Stillwater, with a lovely wool sport weight yarn. The result is a beautifully soft, silky, snuggly scarf that is strong enough to go the distance.

Choose your colors, deeply saturated jewel tones, warm and cozy earth colors, or elegant neutrals and cast on. This is a four row repeat and unfolds quickly so that you can set your pattern aside and just enjoy the journey. Make one for yourself and your friends will want one as well.

Materials:
1 skein Maine Yarn & Fiber Supply Stillwater Yarn (70% Kid Mohair/30% silk; 540 yards/2 ounces), or similar lace weight yarn.

1 skein Jaggerspun Maine Line or Green Line (100% wool; 332 yards/4 ounces), or similar sport weight yarn.

Straight or circular needles of your choice, US Size 6-8 (4 mm-5 mm) depending on how you knit and how much drape you desire.

Darning needle or crochet hook for weaving ends

Finished Dimensions:

approx. 8.5” (21.5 cm) wide x 58” (147.5 cm)

Gauge:

While gauge is not a great importance here, it can be a guide to making sure that you have enough yarn so look for approximately: 20 sts/23 rows over 4” (10 cm)
