jag gjorde damvantarna till mig själv efter att ha blivit inspirerad på en ridresa på Island. Herrmönstret gjorde jag till en kompis födelsedag, därav siffrorna (han fyllde 50) och initialerna. Jag har fodrat vantarna med fleece, men det gör man som man vill. Vantarna funkar bra ned till temperaturer ett par grader under noll.

Till både dam- och herrstorlek har jag köpt två nystan i bakgrundsfärg och ett i kontrastfärg. Eventuellt hade det räckt med ett nystan i bakgrundsfärg, men det hade nog blivit lite tight.

I made the ladies’ sized mittens for myself, inspired from a horseback riding trip to Iceland. The men’s size patterns was created for a friend’s birthday, hence the number and initials. He turned 50. I have lined the mittens with fleece, but that is optional. Mittens work well to temperatures a few degrees Celsius below zero.

For both ladies and men’s size I have bought two skeins in background color and one in contrast color.
