Stina's House Socks
My dear friend Stina asked me for warm bright socks and I knit her the first version of these, four year later she had worn them through and asked if I could possibly knit her a new pair. Luckily I’d saved my notes and this is the second version of them. They are warm, with a nice fit due to the slight rib and quick to knit!
Since these are toe up I recommend knitting the leg of the first sock until you’ve used about half the yarn on the skein. For me this meant the foot and leg are about the same length. If you prefer a longer leg, get more yarn!
For now there’s only one size, a 9 inch foot, but I am working on more sizes.
Pattern is written for two needles, so either magic loop or two circs, but there is nothing stopping you from using dpns.
