During trying times it is important to maintain a sense of calm. For us crocheters and knitters we pick up yarn and hooks or needles to unwind and relax. The repetition of the stitch patterns becomes meditative as we crochet or knit through the rows while we count and concentrate. This kind of mindfulness clears the mind and brings on a sense of well being.

My Stitch Meditation scarf is an easy and relaxing one-skein project for a very wearable, shallow asymmetrical triangular scarf. With easy-to-memorize stitch patterns you can just crochet and relax.

And, this is the perfect pattern for that beautiful skein of hand-dyed fingering weight yarn that you have been saving for that special project. For my scarf I used the gorgeous Traveling Yarns Less Traveled Yarn Tweed Fingering (438 yards/100 grams). Go to www.travelingyarn.com and find your perfect skein.

Find your yarn, locate your hook and sit down and relax and crochet a beautiful scarf and enjoy some stitch meditation!
