This design looks a little pineapple-y, maybe a little bit fish-scaley, or perhaps net-stocking-ish? But there’s something pretty appealing about the diamonds--with sparkling yarn, or not. Every day I wear these hiding under my jeans I think will be a special day. But I think it would be nice to try it using lace yarn instead of light fingering weight to increase the sense of delicate diamonds, and decrease the overall thickness of the fabric.
