The southwest influence and horizons on long prairie vistas are mimicked as five colors fade in and out in the stockyard shawl. Using squishy garter fabric in a loose gauge gives this shawl a cozy and light feeling as well as makes it simple enough to knit astride a horse.
A double rate of Increases along the edges allow the shawl to be wide and shallow while making the most of the worsted weight yarn.
