Stop, Drop & Roll’ is a big eye-catching cowl with a unique, airy texture created with the assistance of some dropped stitches and slipped stitches. A folded edge on both ends perfects the look.

Construction:
The cowl starts with a provisional cast-on and is worked seamlessly in the round. At the end, a few set stitches are dropped all the way down to the bottom, opening up the piece and creating this beautiful lacy, wavy texture. To finish the piece off, after a few plain stockinette rounds, the top edge gets folded and bound off with the help of a handy crochet hook. Lastly, the stitches from the provisional cast-on are retrieved and the bottom edge is rolled and bound off in the same way as the top.
