Stoque! Hat
A “toque” is a hat. 
To be “stoked” is to be excited. Like…really, really excited. 
A hat that has a cute lil’ bit of lace AND keeps your head warm?
Well….that’s a Stoque!
Sizes: 
1 (2, 3, 4) for a head circumference of 18” (20”, 22”, 24”) or 46, (50, 56, 60) cm
Gauge: 
23sts/32 rows = 4”x4” in stockinette using US5 and your DK weight yarn. 
20 sts/32 rows = 4”x4” in lace pattern using US4 and your lace weight yarn.
Important: Please check the gauge for both the DK weight yarn and the lace weight. More information in the “Notes” section of the pattern.
Needles: 
US 4/3.5mm 16” circular needles 
US 5/3.75mm 16” circular needles 
US 5/3.75mm DPNs
Yarn: 
1 skein of Juicy DK from Farmers Daughters Fibers - 100g/274 yards (my sample is in “Woodsman”) 
1 skein of Oh Dang! from Farmers Daughters Fibers - 50g/328 yards (my sample is in “Ranch Romance”)
Yarn amounts used for size 1 (2, 3, 4) 
DK: 55g/150yds (65g/178yds, 80g/220yds, 95g/261yds) 
Lace: 10g/66yds (14g/92yds, 20g/131yds, 30g/197yds)
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, lifeline yarn, scissors, row counter (encouraged)
