The same for everyone.

Great Belt Shawl

The Great Belt between Danish Zealand and Funen - sand, beach and water. On the beach patterns created by wind, water and people. Every Day the same. Every day something new.
Divides and unites two islands. Meets everybody the same. The same for everyone.

The shawl is triangular with a simple cable pattern transitioning into a broad mouth of double knitting creating a shawl that is completely reversible. A double i-cord with tassels at either end maintains the symmetrical pattert and ensures that you never need to think about how to put the shawl on. The original idea behind the design was to create harmony between naturally dyed, non-superwash yarn and hand-dyed superwash sock yarn.
