This no wrong side, double loop cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up in 2 sections beginning with an easy textured stitch pattern in DK yarn then changing to a light fingering held together with a silk mohair to create the soft and warm underside. Finally the bound off edge is joined to the cast on edge using mattress st. Adventurous knitters may wish to begin with a provisional cast on and graft the sides together or graft live sts to the cast on edge but these instructions are not included in the pattern.

I suggest using a solid or tonal yarn for section one to showcase the stitch pattern but encourage you to play with color combinations for section 2. Choose complimentary, contrasting or coordinating colors. Go soft , go bold, or go bright!

The pattern is written for one size but can be easily customized and instructions for this are included in the pattern. Be aware that customizing and/or differences in gauge will affect yardage requirements.
