I designed the Storm Castle cowl for all levels of knitters using hand-dyed DK to showcase variegated and speckled yarn. I used an abstract cable stitch pattern worked in Stockinette stitch background.

I recommend any tonal, variegated or speckled DK-weight yarn. This should be a one-skein project for most DK-weight yarns.
