Storm Dance is a crochet wrap pattern, worked as a rectangle outwards from the corner, creating a bias crochet fabric and an assymetrical diagonal edge at the end.

Inspired by the beautiful ombre shades of the yarn, the pattern features two different stitch patterns to suggest waves and rain.

Size: 36cmx161cm/14”x64” after blocking

Yarn: Sweet Paprika Crescendo mini-skein sets, 1 set each in Deep Blue Sea and Daydream

Gauge: it’s not essential to achieve exact gauge, but the sample measured 12cm/5” long on the longest edge and 15.5cm/6” on the two short sides after row 13 of the pattern.

Time to make: 30-40 hours, depending on skill and speed of individual

The wrap is worked back and forth in rows with a final border worked in the round.
