The Stortorget cowl is worked as a long tube in the round, using two different patterns — houses and chains. You will need circular needles 3 and 3.5 mm both about 60 cm length, stitch marker to mark the beginning of a row and a tapestry needle.

SIZE 68 cm | 27“ circumference at the top, 84 cm | 32“ circumference at the bottom, 28 cm | 11” height.

YARN Any sport or fingering weight yarn. I used DROPS Alpaca yarn (two strands held together):
100 g | 366 yds in light maroon colour (5565) — MC1,
85 g | 311 yds in hazelnut (9025) — MC2,
60 g | 187 yds in sea fog (7323) — CC1,
50 g | 183 yds in olive (7233) — CC2.

GAUGE 10 cm × 10 cm | 4” × 4” = 20 sts × 21 rows in stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm needles.
