Inspired by the gorgeous, old tile floors that can be found throughout the city of Paris, the Strada Cowl features a bold and graphic pattern. It is named after our favorite little hole-in-the-wall cafe in the historic Marais district that we visited every morning for a cafe creme before starting the day.

The Strada Cowl is created by mosaic knitting. Much simpler than traditional fair isle knitting, you only knit with one color of yarn at at time in mosaic knitting, using slipped stitches to create the pattern! This makes it a perfect introduction to colorwork knitting for beginners and experienced knitters alike.

This cowl can easily be customized to make it your very own. Use high contrast colors for a striking accessory, or play with combining neutrals for a more subtle look. Increase the stitch count for a longer cowl or repeat the pattern an extra time for a little extra coziness!
