Here’s an easy, straightforward, striped cowl pattern for you to enjoy! Designed as a birthday present for my nephew, Tim, who loves greys, I had a lot of fun mixing warm and cool shades in this uncomplicated striped design. Any worsted weight yarn will work with this pattern. Feel free to mix up the stipe order, alternating colors in two row amounts.

I’m currently knitting one (on the sneak) for my husband for Christmas, using Plymouth Encore Army green and Cascade Eco Duo, greys. This is a unisex pattern and will look great with any contrasting colors. Have fun playing with slow color repeats, tonals, drifting colors, heathers and solids. Dig into that stash or stop by your LYS and select just the right colors for your Straightforward Stripes Cowl! Anything goes!

You will need size 9 circular needles in a 32” length.

Thanks!
