A companion pattern to Pachyderm Promenade (the double knit version). This version is stranded, with 6 available charts to choose from. Three charts are geared toward beginning stranded knitters, and three are for more experienced stranded knitters. The beginner charts are contained in a separate pdf document and currently are charted only. Written instructions for these charts are in progress.

This hat is written for 3 sizes, Small- to fit 16-19” heads, Medium- to fit 20-23” heads and Large- to fit 23-25” heads.

Materials:
Two colors Dk weight yarn. 40(50,55) grams Main Color,
5-10 grams Contrast color
Small and Medium: size 5 needles or size for gauge
Large: size 4 needles or size for gauge

Gauge:
There are two separate gauges for this pattern, one for the Small and Medium sizes and one for the Large size. Stitch gauge is more important than row gauge, rows can be added or subtracted above the colorwork.

Small and Medium: 19 stitches and 30 rows= 4 inches
Large: 21 stitches and 31 rows= 4 inches
