Stranded Socks
This is a monster sock pattern to use up remnants of sock yarn left over from other projects. Pattern is largely written with small sections of charted colorwork. Socks are a standard 64 (72) stitch pattern.
Gauge is approximate. Needle size is approximate. Work with the needle size you feel comfortable with and has worked for you in the past. Can be worked larger or smaller by simply altering the stitch count by multiples of 8.
Basic cuff down sock knitting knowledge is needed. Other skills required include working with two colors in a round, working in the round, carrying floats, anchoring floats, carrying live yarn down from previous rows, turning a heel, Kitchener stitch for toe or three needle bind off.
Can be knit on DPNS or Magic Loop as you are most comfortable. Yarns suggested are just an example. Colors suggested are merely an example. Heel can be worked in alternate methods as well.
Thanks goes to the fabulous test knitters who helped me make this happen. Love to you guys and to the rest of you, Happy Knitting!
