While the color work in Strata Sphere appears intricate at first glance, one yarn does it all. Swirl jackets are perfect for those deliciously tempting skeins of variegated hand painted yarns that we knitters just can’t resist. Swirl construction, with its long revolving rows, scatter the color repeats of hand painted yarns and creates a subtle stratified look in which tiers of color gracefully ebb and flow. This simply constructed, gently tailored jacket features a neatly tapered collar and a biased torso that lend a long lean look to every body—except, of course, when it’s worn up upside down and all the proportions are reversed.
