Strata by Jan Eaton

Strata

From the Pattern Introduction: A gently undulating ripple pattern worked in double-crochet stitches is given three distinct looks here. Wide stripes are contrasted with narrow ones, even-sized stripes are worked in two close colors, and mohair yarn is used to add texture.

Pattern repeat: This pattern is worked in a multiple of 10 chains plus 3.

Notes on gauge: As with all of the stitch patterns in this book, the gauge is flexible depending on your yarn and needle choice. This stitch is popular for use in blankets and scarves.

Related Patterns: Pattern number 115, Triple Ripple and number 116, Red Fox, is the same stitch pattern with different type and color of yarn and different striping.

Pattern Number 114 in the book, page 75.
