Inspired by my love of travel, the Stratford Beanie gets its name from the town of Stratford-Upon-Avon in England. The lace panels of this chunky beanie are reminiscent of the latticed windows in the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

The pattern includes instructions for an adult beanie that measures approximately 8” x 9” and a matching child beanie that measures approximately 7” x 8”. The child size can be adjusted by changing needle sizes. Use a size 10 for a smaller toddler size. Use a size 11 for a larger child size.

This is an intermediate pattern and is written for bulky weight yarn.
