“This hat is inspired by rock formations, such as those found at Lulworth Cove in Dorset, where immense geological forces have deformed and folded the layers of rock, helping to create the landscape.” It is worked in the round from the bottom up using the stranded method for the colorwork section. The single rib brim is worn folded and the hat is topped with a pompom.

Yardage equals 3 balls of Erika Knight Vintage Wool, shown in colors:
Dark 303 (MC): 2 skeins
Iced Gem 312 (CC): 1 skein

Hat is designed to fit with 3 cm of negative ease. Finished dimensions are 45.5 (51.5, 57) cm circumference by 21.5 (25, 28.5) cm tall.
