Slip-stitch stripes combine with rotating colors to create a fun and deceptively simple knit. Use any number of colors, from 4 to 9 (or more!), and customize both the length and the brim to create a hat as unique as you!

Yarn: 213 yd/196 m worsted-weight yarn divided as follows:
123 yd /112 m MC; 90 yd/83 m total CC, divided.
This yardage should be sufficient for any size regardless of length options.

Sample yarn: Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok; 100% Fine Highland Wool; 123yd /112m per 50g skein.
Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Mini Hank Bundle; 100% Fine Highland Wool; 12yd/11m per 5g mini hank; 252yd/230m per 105g bundle
Multicolor hat: MC - Highland Fleece 1303, 1 skein; CC - Bundle Kit (Cool), 7 mini skeins
Blue tone hat: MC - Grey Harbor 1304, 1 skein; CC – Bundle Kit (Cool), 8 mini skeins
Both hats were made using the same bundle. The exact color rotations are listed at the end of the pattern. For the green tone hat, see projects page.
