The Strawberry Blonde Applique and Granny Square Pattern is a quick intermediate project for a strawberry motif with instructions on how to make it into a granny square! Also includes the option to make it reversible so the back embroidery of the strawberry seeds are not visible, and it’s picture perfect from both sides!

Perfect for a baby granny blanket as a square, or as an applique to attach to a purse, jacket, or picnic basket.

Requires just a bit of pink or red, green, and white worsted (#4) yarn and a 4mm hook for the strawberry and a 6mm hook for the granny portion.

Very important for this applique is knowledge of front post stitches!
