This pattern also has a sewing guide to help create your own pillow insert if you don’t have one! It features a fully textured pillow with an envelope backing to easily remove the pillow insert. There’s even an optional scallop border that adds a lot of fun to your pillow!

Stitches Used:

• Slip Stitch
• Foundation Half Double Crochet
• Single Crochet
• HDC5TOG
• Half Double Crochet
• Double Crochet
• And a custom stitch was used which has full photo guides for!

Notes:

• Written in US terms but comes with a UK abbreviation chart to help with the conversion.
• Recommended for advanced beginners looking for a challenge!
• Photo guide for the strawberries, scallop border, joining the panels, FDHC, sewing the pillow insert and a chart has been included for those who prefer to work with a chart.
• The size of the pillow before putting in the pillow insert is approximately 23” x 11”.
• The back of the pillow has an envelope back so you can easily change out your pillow insert.

Materials:

• Aran/Heavy Worsted. Worsted may also work if gauge can be matched
• COLOUR A: Blue Skies Fibers (BONE) x 3 450yds/300m (300g)
• COLOUR B: Blue Skies Fibers (TRUE RED) 75 yds/69m (50g)
• COLOUR C: Blue Skies Fibers (PICKLE) 75 yds/69m (50g)
• 5mm hook
• 24” x 12” Pillow insert (or sew your own with the guides inside the doc!)
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors
