Granny Squares are great for making EVERYTHING! Whether you are making a cardigan, sweater, bag, purse, backpack, pockets, blanket, pants or anything else you can imagine up; these ripe strawberry grannies are just the thing to sweeten up your project. Perfect for stash-busting!
You need 3-4 colors of worsted weight yarn, 4mm hook, pointy yarn needle and about 2 ft of white or contrasting color to create “seeds”. The seeds can also be created using beads or embroidery thread. Each square is between 5.5-6 inches unblocked, depending on materials and tension.
