Cheerful “Streifen” is the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one, simple to knit and wear. Cumbria Fingering brings a halo to Streifen that we find irresistible, but another fingering-weight yarn may be substituted.

If you substitute a yarn with less body than Cumbria Fingering, please be sure to adjust your needle size, if necessary, to yield a pleasing fabric. Gauge is not essential to this project, in other words, but remember that your gauge will affect your project’s finished dimensions.
