I named this hat “Striated” due to its texture.
The Striated is a warm hat with simple cables. The used cable patterns are suitable for men and women. It is worked in round from bottom – up in one piece.
The pattern contains an explanation (instructions and charts).
The hat can be done in two lengths: shorter version 8.3” (21 cm) or longer version 11.0” (28 cm) from brim to peak.

Yarn: 1 skein of Charisma YarnArt (200 m/ 100g) or other worsted weight yarn which gives you the correct gauge.
Yarn substitutes: Cascade yarn 220, Karisma Drops, Malabrigo Rios. You can also use aran weight yarn as Peruvian Highland Wool by Filcolana (100 m/ 50g) or similar.
Needles: Circular needles sizes 4mm (6 US) and 5mm (8 US), use larger or smaller needles to obtain gauge.
Gauge: When you use needle 4 mm 10 x 10 cm = 22 stitches and 26 rounds in rib pattern after blocking.
Others: - One stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle (or crochet hook), optional pom-pom tool.
Sizes: S/M, 20/21.5” or L/XL, 23/24.5”. To make a larger or smaller hat, increase or decrease in 8 stitch increments.
Finish measurements: S/M: 17.3”/44 cm; L/XL: 18.9”/48 cm circumference & shorter version: 8.3” (21 cm); longer version: 11.0” (28 cm) from brim to peak.

The pattern was tested.
