Stribster socks serve the aesthetic of modern sporty and everyday-use socks with, a technical look using single round stripes and twisted ribs.

This toe-up sock is worked in the round. The toe starts with contrast color using a Turkish “figure-8” cast on method. For the foot section, twisted rib is worked on the top/instep, while stockinette is worked for the sole. In the middle of the foot section, single round stripes are worked using a helix knitting method for jogless stripes. The heel is constructed using German Short Rows in a contrast color, worked flat. 1x1 twisted rib is worked in the leg section, with single row stripes on the ankle and at the top of the leg. The socks are finished with an Italian bind off.

A second pair of socks can be knit changing MC to CC, CC to MC with 1 skein Gusto Core for each color. But this is only for sizes 1, 2, 3 with 11”/ 28 cm foot length. You may run out of yarn with the second pair of size 4 with the same foot length. If the wearer’s foot length is shorter than the sample size (11”/ 28 cm), 1 skein Gusto Core for each color should be enough to make the second pair.
