This pattern is for a newborn/baby cocoon or sleep sack. It is striped and can be used for a male or female. You can change colors around for whichever gender you are making the pattern for.

The pattern is worked in the round, and then worked flat in rows at the end.

Materials needed:
3 skeins of bulky (5/6) yarn (colors/brands used below)
size N - 9.00mm hook (brand I used - Boye)
tapestry needle

Stitches/abbreviations used: ch - chain, sc - single crochet, dc - double crochet, tr - triple/treble crochet, dtr - double triple/treble crochet, sc2tog - single crochet decrease, dc2tog - double crochet decrease, sl st - slip stitch, sk - skip, sp - space

The colors/brands of yarn I used are:
Lion Brand Hometown USA - Houston Cream (tan)
Lion Brand Hometown USA - Savannah Sage (green)
Bernat Softee Chunky - Lavender (purple)
(I used one full skein of the Houston cream, one full skein of the savannah sage (ran out 4 stitches before end of row), and half a skein of the lavender)
