Knitting for babies is a delight. Babies are small, cute, and undiscerning and look great in anything. This sweater is a great way to practice for knitting an adult-size sweater. It matches the Striped Baby Hat, which is also in the book. The contrasting stripes make this extra cute, but feel free to use only one color.

This is one of the simplest sweater constructions, with a seamless, top-down, raglan yoke. It’s easy to knit and comfortable.

Yarn
3 (4, 5) balls worsted weight yarn, 50 grams/110 yards (100.5m) each: 2 (3, 3) balls in Main Color, 1 (1, 2) in Color A.
