Description

The mittens are knitted from the bottom up. They begin with a 2x2 ribbing, followed by the palm, which is shaped using increases. Once the correct number of stitches has been increased, the thumb stitches are separated from the palm. After the palm is long enough, decreases are worked to shape the crown of the mitten.

Sizes: One size (my palm circumference is 18 cm)

Gauge: 25 sts x 35 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 сm x 10 cm

Suggested needles: 3.5 mm double pointed needles

Materials:

1st yarn (dark one): approximately 8 g of Highland Wool by Isager (50 g = 205m) held together with approx. 5 g of Isager Silk Mohair.

2nd yarn (light one): approximately 8 g of Highland Wool by Isager (50 g = 205m) held together with approx. 5 g of Isager Silk Mohair.

Note: You may also use any sport weight yarn (150-200m/50g) held in a one strand. You would need approximately 13g of each colour.
