This pattern uses the figure eight toe-up cast on for socks, a much larger version.
It loosely fits a standard pillow or can be filled itself.

Note: After attempting to sew on the buttons myself, I realized that the button holes are in the wrong location. Though, I have not spent the time yet to fix the mistake in the pattern, I would recommend sewing the pillow shut.
