This top-down shawl is knit entirely in garter stitch with I-cord edge. Gather seven colors of fingering weight yarn like Neighborhood Fiber Co. for the graphic zig zag stripes. The sections are knit individually and each new section is attached to the previous section with a modular knitted attachment, so you only work with one color at a time. The pattern includes a schematic illustration of the shape to help you plan your color story and visualize the construction. Knit the same color layout as my sample or create your own color placement using the shawl illustration as a map. Choose the small or large size and embrace the relaxing garter stitch rows as you play with bold colorful stripes!
