This shawl is simple to make, with bands of stocking stitch and garter stitch. The bold lines are finished off with a pretty picot cast-off.

MATERIALS
2 x 100 g North Ronaldsay fine yarn
5 mm needles or size to achieve tension
1 stitch marker
Sample shows a plain version and marled version of the same colour.

Construction
The shawl is worked flat, outwards from the centre top of the spine.
