This generously sized shawl starts at the point and increases to the paneled border. Rows of eyelets mark the last repeat of each section, and the sections intersperse rows of colourful stripes with bands of solid colour.

The pattern is written to feature a skein of self-striping yarn as the CC, which is the paneled border at the end. The pattern uses pretty much the full skein of self-striping (CC) and just over one and a half skeins of the MC.

The paneled border is knit on to the body of the shawl, so no actual seaming required.

The shawl has a blocked wingspan of 108” (2.7 m) and a peak depth of 21” (0.5 m)

Pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
