The Stripes and Peaks cowl is the fourth design in the Stripes and Peaks family. The cowl was designed to get maximum usage of a 300 yd (274m) gradient from The Blue Brick Dyeworks (Ladybug size). My sample is knit in the Winter Magnolia colourway.

This fun, tube style cowl features a lace chevron panel in the front with horizontal purl row stripes.

The pattern is written, with row counter boxes for tracking, and is suitable for adventurous beginners.

Pattern has been tech edited and test knit.

While the pattern was designed with a 300 yd gradient, it looks great in a tonal or speckle, and if you have a 115g skein you most likely can knit the mitts as well (the pair are available as an ebook).
If you make the set, I’d knit the mitts first and then the cowl, as the cowl can be shortened if you are a bit short on yardage.
