Summer on your mind?

I want to take this blanket and spread it out on a beach and watch this boats go by. Or, lay it on my deck, get a book and glass of lemonade, and imagine a cool day at the beach. I hope you will, too.

Stripes Ahoy! is made in 3 sections, with series of different stripe patterns. All garter stitch, the second and third sections are knitted directly onto the first, using picked up stitches. It’s finished off with an applied i-cord. I chose white for my border; whatever color you choose, I suggest matching it to the final color in each section so that the border harmonizes better with the stripes.
