Do you need to knit up a baby gift and just want something simple? Not into ‘traditional’ looking baby knits and would prefer something more modern? Maybe you just have cold knee’s and could use a cute lap rug? Well this little blanket could be the perfect project for you!

It’s a mindless project making it quite quick for a blanket, but the regular colour changes help to keep it interesting and gives a sense of progress. And the fact that it is just plain knit makes it perfect for beginners!

Choose a colour palette that is fun & pop-y and watch it grow, or pick something soft & sweet and channel your inner calm. It’s super easy to change the size of, just cast on as many or as few stitches as you like, and off you go!
