Stripes of Joy is all about celebrating color - whether it be your favorite neutrals, a palette of cheery & bright tones or a combination of both!

Pattern Construction
Stripes of Joy is a top-down circular yoke construction pullover.
At worsted weight, this sweater knits up quickly and is oh so cozy to wear! Stripes of Joy features a repetitive stripe pattern, accented with an eyelet detailing at the upper yoke and just before the bottom hem. Five total colors are suggested for this pattern – alternatively, four can be used.
For ease of planning, there is a Contrast Color Stripe Orientation sequence chart included in the pattern.

Stripes of Joy is worked seamlessly from the collar to hem, which means you can try it on as you go! German short rows are worked flat at the back of the neck, to raise the back of the sweater slightly, for a comfortable fit. The rest of the sweater is worked in the round.

Suggested Needles
• Needle A - US 5 / 3.75 mm or three sizes smaller than main needle, 16” & 32” / 41 & 81 cm (or longer) circulars (collar, cuffs, hem)
• Needle B - US 8 / 5 mm, 16” & 32” / 41 & 81 cm (or longer) circulars or size needed for Stockinette Stitch gauge (main needles)
• DPNs or circulars in both sizes for working small circumferences (sleeves)

Note! If your gauge tends to tighten when knitting a small circumference (the sleeves) you may want to go up one needle size for working the sleeves. Additionally, if you prefer more stretch in the body hem, you may want to use a needle one size larger than used for the collar. I recommend having two sizes available (for both) to adjust as / if needed.

Notions
• Distinct BOR marker + 4 additional markers
• Waste yarn or stitch holders to hold sleeve stitches
• Darning needle
• Scissors
• Blocking mat and pins
