This pattern is worked in the round, cuff down with one strand for each color.

I came up with the Stripy Dandy Socks in an effort to create the best everyday socks possible. The striking yet fancy look reflected my personality.

Size:
Child/ Small/ Standard/ Medium/ Large

Yarn:
The pattern uses around 180yds/165m to 440yds/400m (50% of yardages for each color) of fingering sock (with nylon) weight yarn.

The sample shown in burgundy and gold uses Go Handmade Tencel Bamboo fingering in the “Bordeaux” & ‘’Curry’’ colourway.

Needle sizes:
2.5mm / US 1.5 (or any to obtain gauge)
Tapestry needle.

Gauge:
32 sts / 46 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in the round in stockinette stitch

Techniques used:
Knitting, purling, twisted stitches, knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog, ssk), grafting.

Ce patron se tricote en rond, des côtes vers les orteils avec un fils pour chaque couleur.

J’ai imaginé les bas Stripy Dandy dans un effort d’allier l’audace, l’élégance et le confort. Ce type de bas peut être porté en toute occasion, ce qui reflète bien ma personnalité.

Ce patron utilise approximativement 180yds/165m à 440yds/400m (50% dumétrage pour chaque couleur) de laine, grosseur fingering à bas (avec nylon).
Les bas tricotés en bourgogne et or utilise de la Go Handmade fingering couleur “Bordeaux” et ‘’Curry’’.

Taille d’aiguilles :
2.5mm/ US 1.5 (ou tout autre donnant le bonne échantillon)
Aiguille à tapisserie.

32 mailles et 46 rangs = 10 x 10 cm ou 4 x 4 po point jersey en rond
