These socks are inspired by my son’s all time favourite blue and white stripy shorts and my teenage love of pom pom sport socks.

They are knit toe up using my Beanie toe and contrast Godet heel and in reverse stocking stitch, inside out, to avoid all the purling.

The pattern incorporates fine stripes and a pom pom.

The pattern is written for magic loop and is suitable for an intermediate sock knitter.

The pattern includes a video tutorial to demonstrate casting on and starting the toe increases.

The pattern comes in three sizes, Small, Medium, Large

You’ll need three different coloured yarns for these socks.

For the sample I used a beautiful sock set from The Yarn Lab in ’90’s Kid’
(fingering weight; 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 400m/100g).

Sample socks are knit in a Medium and used approximately 60g total.

Colour A Main yarn 33g - blue in sample
Colour B Contrast yarn 22g - cream in sample
Colour C Accent yarn 5g - pink in sample
