Here are some little trees to knit for your Christmas ornaments. This pattern includes the two tree sizes, tall and short.

THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the two trees, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, and a materials list. The pattern is 3 pages and written in English.

TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, increase and decrease, knit stripes, and sew seams.

  • A pair of straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)
  • Double knitting yarn (DK or light worsted weight); less than 25g per colour
  • Toy filling
