The loose fitting Strobl cowl/poncho inspired by good old fashion Austrian romance will keep you comfortably warm and with a definite European flair this season.

Knitted from the top down with three yarns and as many needle sizes, starting with a Picot cast on in a bulky Chenille yarn around the neck. Then two more yarns get added  to create the body and then there is the pretty bottom lace for plenty of personality. This knit is growing quickly, especially with two strands of yarns held together on a bigger needle size for the main body.

The unblocked dimensions are: Neckline 18.5”, 18” in overall length and 113” around the bottom lace border. The pattern is fully written and offers a lace chart as well.

C1 - A mini skein with 10 yards of a bulky Chenille.
C2 - Two Easy Care Chunky yarn cakes, 130 yards/100 grams each in a chunky combo of 80% anti pilling Acrylic/20% Rayon from Bamboo. Super soft!
C3 - A Lustrous skein, 380 yards, 100 grams in a blend of 70% cotton/30% viscose in a sport weight.
