I have never been to Georgetown, Washington, but this is the look I would like to wear when I will visit this popular trendy town!

The beanie is knitted in the round on circular needles using the magic loop technique, but you can easily work it using dpns or two circulars.

The two mittens are knitted together in the round on long circular needles (2AAT- 2-at-a-time technique), this means that when you bind off you will have finished both mittens avoiding the “second-mitten syndrome”. If you would like to knit the mittens separately you will be given instructions to do so.
