Strop top literally translated = strap top.

  • A little easy tank top!
  • A fun project that will be totally personal. Nobody will work exactly the same as you
  • Wear it reversed or with the either side out … (the modeled pictures are showing wrong side of the tank top)^

Strop top is worked from bottom up as follows: The stitches are cast on for different rib patterns and afterward the body is worked in rounds with decreases to create a more fitted yoke.
At armholes, the work is divided, and the two parts are worked separately in rows while shaping armholes and necklines in rows ending with straps. No further finishing!

Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7)
To achieve a perfect fit at the yoke, it is meant to be worked without positive ease at the yoke but with ease (relaxed rib) at the body.

For best fit use your high bust measurement with no positive/negative ease. The high bust measurement is above your full bust and not at full bust.
The finished bust measurement: 73.5 (80, 90, 100) (110, 120, 130) cm/28.75 (31.5, 35.5, 39.25) (43.25, 47.25, 51.25)”
Hem circumference: 85 (91.5, 101.5, 111.5) (121.5, 131.5, 141.5) cm/ 33.5 (36, 40, 44) (47.75, 51.75, 55.75)”
