Perhaps one of the coolest things in the ocean are the majestic sea pancakes, the flap flaps, the stingrays! They’re so graceful and pretty, and when they burrow in the sand it’s about the cutest thing ever! I wanted to create a realistic stingray based loosely on a Southern Stingray so that even when I don’t have the ocean, I can still have a ray (or 10). Thus, Stubert was born!
He can be made with many different yarns, so go wild in making big or small versions! He’s meant to have “stiff” wings so that you can bend them upwards like he’s swimming in the sea. Optionally there’s direction to ass little angry eyebrows & gills with a mouth on his underside ◡̈

I hope you love Stubert the Stingray as much as me! I cannot wait to see your creations!
