Studio Blouse With 3/4 Sleeves

Studio is one of Hanne Falkenberg’s true classics. With the beautiful graphic pattern, the blouse is both eye-catching and a great knitting experience. This knitting pattern is worked in garter stitch with 3/4 sleeves and diagonal stripes. The blouse is made with a short cut and can be styled with both a dress and a pair of trousers.

Studio is worked in ridges starting from one corner of the front piece (opposite the large colored triangle). Thereafter the blouse is worked in one piece, which is finally knitted together over a slanted seam. The pattern is well illustrated with diagrams showing the knitting direction.

Procedure
The entire garment is worked in garter stitch. Make two halves, working back and forth. Join the two pieces (by knitting together) along a diagonal seam, see diagram. Only one color is worked at a time. Finishing is simple, sleeve seams are knitted together as you cast off, only side seams are joined using mattress stitch.
