Please note that this pattern is a graph only pattern and does not include row by row directions like a
traditional crochet pattern. Each block represents 1 stitch. To properly make this as an afghan you must
know how to change colors and can work this in single crochet or afghan stitch. As an alternative this
design may also be cross stitched. I have also successfully used this for Intarsia knitting.
Graphed design uses 7 colors and is 100 x 100 squares. Finished design can easily be made larger by adding
stitches evenly to each side and/or top and bottom. The finished item can also be made larger by adding
any border of your choosing.
There is no gauge listed for this design. Finished size varies with yarn weight, hook size and your tension,
when choosing colors be sure that you choose all from the same weight class and use an appropriate size
hook to match your yarn. Choose similar colors to the graph for a more accurate pony friend.
