We’ve all seen old-fashioned doilies connected together to make wall hangings and table runners. This table runner takes that idea and gives it a cleaner, more modern twist, while retaining the rustic charm of a hand-crocheted piece. The motifs are crocheted individually, then attached together. With these instructions, you can create the layout shown here, or, by picking and choosing which motifs to make, you can create an unlimited array of configurations to fit any table shape and size!

FINISHED SIZE: 55” x 28” (with all motifs as shown)

MATERIALS NEEDED:
• 10 skeins of worsted-weight (#4 medium) cotton yarn. (I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream Solid Cotton (120 yards / skein) in Overcast)
• F / 5 (3.75mm) crochet hook
• Spool of Invisible Thread
• Needle (I recommend one that doesn’t have too sharp a point)

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: EASY
This pattern is completed using mostly chains, double crochets, and slip stitches. You will, however, need to know or learn how to use a Magic Circle and how to do a Seamless Join.
